MySuru: Longslide Hits Chamundi Hills Following Heavy Rainfall

Mysuru: Following heavy rainfall, a small landslide reported from the Bukit Chamundi, Mysuru.
The hill received 64.5mm rainfall on Wednesday night.
Poornachandra Tejaswi, ACP, Division Krishnaraja informed that landslides occurred near a welcome signboard entered by Chamundeshwari Electrical Supply Corporation.
According to the authorities, following the incident, the police raised a road that connected the Nandi’s idol from the hill.
Most of the part of MySuru District witnessed heavy rainfall on Wednesday night.
According to KSNDMC data, 65mm rainfall was reported in Mysuru City.
Savve village in HD Kote Taluk recorded 95mm rainfall.
This is the highest rainfall in the district in the last 24 hours.
