MySuru: Officially fined for violating mask rules

Mysuru: In the example of Sterling practicing what they preached, officials of the city of Mysuru fined Kadakol Town Pancir officer Rs 250 for failing to wear a mask correctly at the Covid-19 review meeting chaired by the Department of Commissioner (DC) of Bagadi Gautham on Thursday.
Authorities said DC held a senior official meeting on Thursday to discuss the Covid-19 situation that applies and takes stock of vaccination drives, RPCR testing, and other pandemic related problems.
“During the meeting, Head of the City of Panchayat officers did not wear a mask properly.
Senior officials warn him several times to wear a mask correctly, but he did not pay attention.
Because he was found to violate the mask rules, DC directed the authority to impose a fine in place,” said the source .
Dr.
Dg Nagaraj, Ppry health worker, confirmed the incident.
“We collected a fine of Rs 250 from officials,” said Dr.
Nagaraj.
Authorities say all officials have been asked to submit examples and follow unsuitable behaviors, including wearing masks correctly, following social distance and ensuring hand hygiene at any time so people also follow these norms.
“This is for the first time, alright has been collected from an official,” they said.
