Bengaluru: H K Meghan, a student from Mysuru, created a record by pocketing the top ranking in all five schools including engineers at the Karnataka-2021 general entrance test, the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr.
C N Ashwath Narayan said on Monday.
The results of the KCET-2021, gateway to enter professional courses, held from August 28 to 30 and the results were announced today.
Narayan said in a statement that 1,83,231 candidates from 1,93,447 which appeared for inspection had been qualified to enter into technical and technology courses, based on achievement.

He clarified that there was no cut-off sign set as previously announced to find entries to technical courses.
For other streams, 1,52,518 candidates for agriculture, 1,52,760 candidates for veterinary medicine, 1,55,910 candidates for naturopathy and yoga, and 1,86,638 for B.
Pharma & Pharm-D courses have fulfilled the requirements, the Minister said.
