MySuru: Youth Killing Father, Widow Business Partners

Mysuru: A young man who allegedly attacked and killed his father and a woman in the last house in Srinagar in South Mysuru on Thursday.
Both of them died in place.
The woman’s son, who was also injured, was in the hospital.
The reason for the attack was unknown, police said, added the hunting for Sagar accused, 28 years old.
Police supervisor R Shivakumar said the attack occurred as soon as Shivaprakash who died, 56 years old, reached Latha’s house at around 10pm on Thursday.
Sagar followed his father, a trader, to the house and an argument broke up with family problems.
In anger, Sagar attacked his father with sharp weapons and killed him, said ASP.
Then, he attacked Latha, 48, with the same weapon.
His son, Arjun was 27 years old, tried to save him but a failed and sustainable injury.
Shivakumar said the team had been formed to solve a double murder case and trace the defendant.
The source said Latha was the widow of the Shivaprakash Nagaraj business partner.
After the death of Nagaraj in 2016, Shivaprakash had cared for the family and this was believed to have angered Sagar, they said.
Latha has three children – two daughters and a son.
While the daughters were married, Arjun lived with his mother.
Besides Sagar, Shivaprakash has a daughter.
