Ranchi: Commissioner of the North Chhotanagpur Division Dr.
Nitin Madan Kulkarni will fill as Deputy Chancellor of Interim Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU).
Kulkarni will take over after V-C Dr.
Satya Narayan Munda completes his tenure on Wednesday.
Munda completed a three-year period at the university leader after his appointment in May 2018.
On the last day of the office, DSPMU V-C Munda said he was running the University smoothly with teacher and student cooperation.
He said, “I do our best to solve students’ problems and teachers.
Some new courses, including public administration, mass communication and journalism, art and music, starting during my term,” said Munda, added that he planned to write a book about anthropology in the future.
The press statement issued by the Office of the Governor of Ramesh Bias said, “The governor has asked the North Chhotanagpur Division Commissioner to give up his responsibilities to the usual VC designated.
The VC removal process is taking place.” The official source said the steps had also been taken for regular V-CS appointments At the University of Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal (BBMU) in Dhanbad, Jamshedpur female university in Jamshedpur and Ranchi University (RU).
The committee in this case has been formed while the application is sought from aspirants.
RU’s daily affairs are currently being guarded by Acting V-C Dr.
Kumar.
The three-year tenure from V-C is currently in BBM, Anjani Kumar Srivastava, will soon be over.
At the University of Women Jamshedpur, V-C Shukla Mohanty has retired.
