New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Tuesday guarantees two charges and denied guarantees to others accused of murdering a murder of an old woman, AKBARI AKBARI BEGUL, in connection with the violent case of Northeast Delhi February 2020.
Bench of Judge Subramoniam Prasad guarantees Arun Kumar and Ravi Kumar, denying the same thing with Vishal Singh in the FIR 70/2020 registered at the Bhajanpura Police Station, in the Northeast National District.
Akbari, a resident of Bhajanpura in his house when a horde allegedly burned it, so he killed him.
According to the police, during the incident, while the other family members went up to the roof to save themselves Akbari Begum could not leave the second floor room and climb using the stairs because of his age.
He died of weakness.
FIR was registered under Section 302, 307, 396, 436, 147, 148 and 149 IPC.
The statement of police personnel, eyewitnesses and those who helped water the fire was recorded to identify all those who were part of the horde of riots that burned the house, related Chargesheet said.
Those who have been arrested and drawn in this case include Arun Kumar, Varun Kumar, Vishal Singh, Ravi Kumar, Prakash Chand and Suraj.
At least 53 people died when around 200 people suffered serious injuries in the violence raged for three days in the Northeast Delhi in February 2020.
