Indore: Now National Assessment and Accreditation Board (NAAC) will offer temporary accreditation, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has written to affiliated universities.
Of the 280 affiliated colleges, more than 200 affiliated higher education institutions (Heis) DAVV have not been accredited by NAAC.
Especially after the Minist of Higher Education Madhya Pradesh, the latest instructions from Dr.
Mohan Yadav for universities to choose the temporary NAAC certificate, DAVV has taken responsibility to ensure affiliated universities also get it.

“Although, this university has encouraged universities to choose an assessment but currently DAVV has written to affiliated universities to at least apply for a temporary certificate,” said Chancellor Davv, TOI.
Under the new NAAC guidelines, temporary accreditation for universities (PAC) will help ensure institutional readiness for final NAAC accreditation.
The last date to submit a temporary certificate is February 24, therefore universities are instructed to do so before the deadline, he added.
Institutions that apply to the PAC process will get feedback about the area they need to work on to reach the quality threshold level.
PAC will apply for two years, and the institution cannot get it more than twice it will provide a window for college to prepare it, Sharma said.
Because of poor facilities and the quality of sub-standard education provided by universities, the majority of institutions have avoided the NAAC assessment for several years now.
Universities affiliated with fear that poor value may affect the number of acceptance.
While DAVV has linked the All-India survey for higher education (Aishe) with college affiliates.
