Jalna: Police in the Bed Maharashtra District on Wednesday understood a group of robbers, who had run for 14 years, said an official.
The police have restored stolen gold worth Rs 2.24 lakh from the defendant Sikandar Akhtar Sayyed, who has 35 housebreaking cases, theft and robbery of his name, said the branch of the Branch of Local Crime Bhujang.
Sikandar has formed a gang, whose mode the operandi is that they entered the house by breaking the window, the official said.
The defendant had been running for 14 years, and continued to replace his hiding to avoid arrest, he said, adding that he was arrested by tip-off.
