PARIS: Defending champion Rafael Nadal reached the French Open fourth round for the 16th Season on Saturday with his third Triumph of 2021 on Britain’s Cameron Norrie.
Nadal, pursuing a 14th Roland Garros name and record-setting 21st Grand Slam, won 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 and proceeds to confront Italian adolescent Jannik Sinner to get a spot in the previous eight.
Even the third-seeded Spaniard, that currently has a list in Paris of all 103 wins against two losses because his 2005 debut, conquered Sinner from the quarter-finals at the last year’s championship.
