Nadal targets Australia’s open heating returns in December

Paris: Rafael Nadal, who had come out with a foot injury since losing in the French Open semi-final, said on Monday that he wanted to return in December in Abu Dhabi, because he targeted the Australian Open in January.
“My plan was to play Abu Dhabi in December and then in a tournament before Australia and then the Australian Open.
That’s my goal,” Spain said at the Sponsoring event in Paris.
“We work hard to make it happen.” Nadal won the Australian Open in 2009 and lost in the final four times since.
The 35-year-old Spaniards can face a weakened field when uncertainty circles around Covid-19 rules for players who come to Melbourne for the first Grand Slam next year who are operating since January 17-30 in Melbourne.
Novak number one Djokovic, who defeated Nadal in Roland Garros, said on Sunday he would consider whether he defended his title when the official decision was made regarding the player and vaccination.
Nadal hopes to be there.
“I don’t know exactly when I will be back,” he said on Monday.
“But I can say that my goal is to try back to Abu Dhabi in December, and then, of course, for the start of the new season in January.” “Injury at my feet still need a little better, but I have practiced almost one and a half hours a day so it’s positive.
A few days are better than others, but I started having more positive days than negative.
So I’m on the right track , “he said.
“I practiced, I felt better.
I returned to court,” he said.
In early September, Nadal announced that he had undergone treatment at his left leg which would make it “far from the court for several weeks”.
He suffered from Muller-Weiss Syndrome, degenerative disease which caused the deformity of one of the bones in the middle of the feet.
