Kohima: The Nagaland government on Saturday announced the fourth phase unlocked for 18 days starting on Sunday with further relaxation, including allowing more time for stores to open and bus by reducing capacity.
The first phase of unlocking was from July 1-7, followed by the second round from July 8-17 and the third period of July 18.
The decision for Unlock-4 of August 1-18 was taken during a high-powered meeting Committee in Covid-19 led by the Head of Minister of Neiphiu Rio, said an official.
HPC has decided to extend the time to open a store of up to 12 hours, from 6am to 6pm.
It was previously allowed until 4pm.
Bus transport services, both personal and government, will be permitted to operate with a capacity of 50 percent, he said.
Further notifications and standard operating procedures for unlocking phases will be issued for each district assignment style in Covid-19, the official said.
On Friday, the calculation of Coronavirus Nagaland reached 27,713, where 25,098 had recovered.
A total of 561 people have died in the country because of transmission.
