New Delhi: The intimidation of the Chinese army will be handled strongly, General of the Army General MM Naravane on Wednesday, during his annual media direction.
Gen Naravane said that the Army continued to maintain a high level of alertness and vigilance on the northern border, while also continuing to engage with China through military level talks.
Speaking of terrorism sponsored by Pakistan, the head of the army said that the concentration of the oppressed terrorist has been reported in launch bearings on the Western border, while repeating the policy of ‘zero tolerance against terrorism’.
He also said that the situation in J & K has shown a gradual increase.
“In the western part of the West, there is an increase in terrorist concentrations in various launch bearings & there are repeatedly infiltration efforts in LC.

Since January last year, there have been positive developments along the North and Western borders, the army head added.
Gen Naravane also said that the incidence of Nagaland’s combustion would be proven thoroughly, while emphasizing that the overall security situation in the northeast remained under control.
“The regrettable incident that occurred in Oting, Nagaland on December 4 was being investigated thoroughly.
We remain committed to the security of our citizens, even during the operation,” he said.
