Nagpur: CSW files read the request against CP for Sealing Ganga Jamuna

Nagpur: Commercial Sex Workers (CSW) have transferred the Nagpur bench of the High Court which demanded the insulting process against Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar and Police Inspector Lakadanj Police Parag Thote to seal the Ganga Jamuna area and stopped prostitution activities there.
While issuing a notification to both respondents, the division bench consisting of Atul Chandurkar justice and justice Ga Sanap on Thursday directed them to submit a reply within two weeks.
The bench also told CP to show the status of the September 10 representation made by the applicant to him in this matter.
Applicants through Counsel – Raspal Singh Renu and Nihalsingh Rathod – argue that the respondents have sealed the entire red light area citing provisions based on Part 18 (1) Traffic Law (Prevention) that is immoral, 1956.
However, their actions totally ignore HC On September 10, 2015, the order is forwarded in Petition No.
1185/2015.
Furthermore, accused the duo forced to turn off the profession and hundreds of CSPS in the area, the mother of two said that even though an invaders had no notice issued to him because of the eviction and it was a violation of HC in the previous application.
Added that respondents failed to obey the legal process by driving him from the room and forced the sidewalk in his movements, the Applicant argued that it affected his rights to the livelihood.
Chasing himself “Sex Workers”, the applicant said he had been in this profession for a long time and produced a livelihood by offering his services to adults who agreed and wanted.
He used to live in a rented room in the area by paying RS1,500 as a rent and never pampering themselves in human trafficking, the applicant claimed.
In January this year, the respondents had issued a notification to the landlady to empty tenants, including the applicant under an immoral traffic prevention law.
The landlady has told them that the place was occupied by several tenants and asked for reduction.
However, a command was issued by the Commissioner to empty the whole place and to disconnect the power and water.
According to the applicant, a similar effort was carried out by the police chief who then imposed the sidewalk in CSW work in 2015.
The same applicant along with another CSPS then filed a petition to HC challenging his actions.
In this case, the Lakadanj Police Inspector which later has submitted a business because it ensures that CSPS will not be expelled from Ganga Jamuna without following the legal process.
HC then explained to the respondent that conditions in an effort will bind them.
However, respondents failed to follow this condition, the Petitioner argued.
