Nagpur: Five young people, between 17 and 23 years old, sank on the Kanhan River on Sunday while bathing.
About 12 young people, native Digras in Yavatmal, have come to Nagpur to visit the different temple where Urs or the religious church takes place.
Police said the children began from Yavatmal on Saturday night.
After reaching Nagpur, young people have reached Taj Bagh to pay their respect in Dargah where Baba Taj Urs is underway.
The children came to the Kanhan river to take a shower and then went to another temple.
While four went to take a shower, the others were waiting on the banks of the river.
Those seven other friends were waiting in the car.
Additional SP, Nagpur Rural, Rahul Maknikar said the police had roamed local divers and swimmers to fishing.
The strength of the state disaster response (SDRF) has been pressed into action also to intensify the search.
Inundated death cases are being registered at the Kanhan police station in the Nagpur countryside while posting this news.
