Nagpur: After the Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) and the Directorate of Enforcement (ED), the income tax department on Friday swooped out former Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmhukh.
The day after Ed submitted a Chargesheet in the case of Deshmukh, stating that the former minister and one of his colleagues had received RS 20 Crore each to reverse one of the most controversial orders from the former police chief of Bir Singh, the Income Tax Investigation Team was conducting a raid on a number of places Related to Dishmukh in Nagpur.
There was a team report that attacked around 10 am after covering an educational institution that had Dishmukh and his relatives in the management board besides forming several offices and housing places.
One residence including luxury apartments in Nagpur whose relationship was also traced to one of Deshmukh’s close colleagues.
Development was confirmed by people in the Deshmukh office too.
