Nagpur: The third year of the Indian Technology Institute (BHU) Varanasi died of suicide at his home, police said on Friday.
The deceased was identified as a Pushpak Sambhe (21), a resident of the Wanadongri region in the city of Nagpur.
He and his parents had visited their village on Wednesday and pushpot himself back the next morning to attend online class, a police officer said.
He apparently hung himself on Thursday afternoon.
Death was revealed when his mother asked the neighbors to check it out because he did not respond to phone calls, the official said.
The case of unintentional death was registered at the MIDC police station and further investigation, he added.
