Nagpur man died at Amravati Hotel Fire

Amravati: A Senior Cable TV / Broadband Service Provider Delip Thakkar, 55, based in Nagpur, died of weakness after a fire occurred at the Hotel Imperia, located in front of the Rajapeth police station in the city, around 3am on Tuesday.
Thakkar, Vidarbha’s operation of GTPL Hathway’s head, had examined the day before with his colleague who was beaten Shah.
Thakkar and his colleague Shah is in room no.
201, but the first has shifted to room no.
205 on the fifth floor at night because he felt unwell.
Both have booked the hotel for a night’s rest.
When the fire broke around 3am because of a short circuit in the switchboard close to the room no.
201, the power supply to the entire building is taken.
Even when other guests were saved from the rooms filled with smoke, Thakkar fell unconscious because there was no ventilation for smoke to faint.
He rushed to the district public hospital where the doctor said he died.
The electrical panel where short circuits occur containing all hotel switches that have 13 rooms.
From them, five rooms were occupied by guests when the incident occurred.
Police personnel about patrol assignments have noticed the fire and they told the fire department.
Fire Personnel has a hard time to issue inferno because of the narrow lane.
RS10 Lakh’s loss to the hotel property is estimated.
The police have booked hotel owners and managers under section 304 (a).
This is the second fire incident in the city in three days.
This incident has raised question marks on fire audits in important buildings in the city.
