Nagpur: Nominee MLC BJP Chandrashekhar Bawankule won the election of the state legislative council from Nagpur by beating Mangesh Deshmukh, an independent candidate supported by Congress on Tuesday.
In the number of selection of the first preference, Bawankule received 362 votes while Deshmukh received 186.
