Nagpur: Nit proposes the 500 plot agreement but is not ready to surrender Rs 125 Crore paid to NMC

Nagpur: In a big assistance for more than 500 plot owners, the Administration of Nagpur’s repair (NIT) has proposed to sanction the development plan, issuing a regularization letter (RL) and giving other agreements to those who have paid the fee to Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC)) .
But continuing the upheaval with NMC, Nit was not ready to give up 125 Crore restored by the civil body from the owner of this plot.
The NIT Supervisory Board will take the final decision in this matter at the meeting on October 4 on September 14, it has reported that NIT is not ready to sanction the development plan, issue RL and give another approval to more than 500 plot owners.
The state government on August 27, 2019, has transferred the power of NIT and made the Single Planning Authority NMC City.
NMC has a building plan that is approved, issued a RL and is given another agreement in the field transferred from NIT.
On April 9 this year, the government returned NIT’s strength.
In more than 500 cases, the NMC has taken demands during the process to sanction the development plan, the RL problem and other approval are waiting.
NMC must transfer all cases to Nit.
Even though people have paid allegations to NMC, nit again demanding the cost of the plot owner.
Now, the NIT government has proposed to verify the allegations paid to NMC by asking for copies of receipt etc.
Nit will sanction the development plan, issue RL and provide other approval such as merging plots, plot distribution, mutations etc.

At the same time, the Government Nit has said it will cause financial losses of RS125 Crore.
“Nit wrote to NMC on August 10 that asked to transfer recovering costs from the plot owner.
But the NMC did nothing and did not respond positively,” Nit said in a proposal which also stated that the Civic Agency would adjust the number if he owed it to NMC .
Nit’s plan not to submit 125 crore income will continue the dispute between the two institutions.
Chairman of the Committee stands NMC Prakash Bhoyar, who is also a Nit Trustee, told TII who welcomed the Nit Administration’s decision to sanction the development plan, issue RL and gave another approval after verifying the demands with NMC with NMC.
“NMC has restored costs after verifying all the details.
Therefore, it is the responsibility of NIT to do what is needed.
Nit must submit a request for 125 crores because there are no questions about the responsibility of the civil body,” he said.
