Nagpur: A 19-year-old man, Amlesh Kumar Mondal, who allegedly strangled a 25-year-old married woman to death after trying to attack him sexually, close to the cement pipe factory on Jalan Sawargaon in Dongargaon, in Nagpur countryside on Tuesday.
The police found that right before the attack and murder, Mondal watched the porn site on his cellphone, which was confiscated and sent for forensic examination now.
The victim, who had a sign of nails in his throat, also bore told signs of sexual attacks of violence, including a bite mark on his lips.
The Universities Forensic Team and Indira Gandhi Government Hospital have collected swabs of vagina for chemical analysis.
Mondal was sleeping in his room near the cement factory when police from the Katol police station in the Nagpur countryside picked him up.
The perpetrator was nabbed based on CCTV recordings from the factory premise, which showed him to enter the victim’s hutment and then also bite and dragged him back inside when he tried to escape.
The police said the victim, Indigenous Madeshi Pradesh, had come to Sawarmaon a few days ago to meet his parents, who worked at a cement pipe plant, and lived in the nearest cottage like other co-workers.
The woman usually lives with her husband in Nagpur.

SP Vijaykumar Magar said CCTV footage revealed the victim had tried to escape, but the perpetrators had dragged him back to the hutment.
“We have slapped the cost of humility’s violations, because there is direct evidence that the power is used incorrectly to bring the victim in its hutmen.
Forensic expert will confirm whether there is a rape,” he said.
“CCTV’s footage shows that he at least tries to rape, and it can be one of the intentions that might be behind evil.
But there may be some angle of economic increase too, such as fast cash or cellphones,” he said.
A senior police said the history of Mondal cellphone search showed that he was very watching porn sites.
