Nagpur: A woman and a 10-year-old girl found killed at a farm near Kalmeshwar in Nagpur on Monday, with a man who accompanied them and then escaped into the main suspect, police said.
The identity of women and small girls has not been ascertained, but on the basis of the statement of agricultural owners, the man who escaped was identified as Rakesh aka Mohan Sahu (30), a resident of the Mandla district in neighboring Madhya Pradesh, an official said.
A police team had gone to Chichgaon in MP to collect more details about Sahu, the officials of the Kalmeshwar police station added.
“The three have met with agricultural owners on September 22 looking for work.
After being given a job and accommodation, Sahu lost on Monday and the farmer found the woman and the girl lay dead on the floor.
The woman was watered to death and the girl was killed by stone, “He said.
