Ranchi: Giridhari Ram Gonjhu, a famous nagpuri writer and academic for more than five decades, on Tuesday ventured Padma Shri annually on the day of the Republic of Eve.
Gonthu, who was in the late 60s, died last year amid the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic after failing to get a timely treatment and a hospital bed in Ranchi.
