Nagpur: State Department of Education has asked all schools to mark the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi (30 January) and create awareness about the life and teachings.
School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad told TOI that these events can be held online because schools were closed in many districts.
The reason for the school are required to take these mainly because of ‘Nai Talim’, a call given by Gandhi during 1937 Shikshan Parishad in Wardha, who spoke about education as an integral part of the development of society.
