Naidu meets the leaders of various parties because the government’s opposition deadlock continues

New Delhi: As was paralyzed by Rajya Sabha for the twelfth day in the midst of sustainable protests by opposition, Chairman M Venkaiiah Naidu on Wednesday met with leaders from various parties and urged them to ensure the smooth running of the house so that the problem of public interest can be taken to on.

Nadimul Haque, Abir Ranjan Biswas, Shanta Chhetri, Arpita Ghosh and Mausam Noor.
On demand for a soft view on the suspension of the long members, Chairman Naidu said that he would definitely uphold the dignity of the house and restricted to acting when things were taken to extremes for 12 days.
When it was suggested that the members were given the opportunity to express ‘regrets’ for their actions, he noted that members did not require permission from the chair to do so.
Naidu discussed the situation at Rajya Sabha with M Thambiduri (AADMK), Prasna Acharya (BJD), Ramgopal Yadav (SP), Jairam Ramesh (Cong), Ramnath Thakur (JD-U) Besides Deputy Chairman of Harvansh and Deputy Leader of Piyush Piyush House.
