Naidu VP Welcomes Decision 14 Engineering College to offer courses in regional languages

New Delhi: Venkaiiah Naidu vice president on Saturday welcomed the decision of 14 technical colleges in eight states to offer courses in regional languages in certain branches of the new academic year.

He expressed happiness that the Indian Natural Council for Technical Education (AICTE), in harmony with the provisions of new education policies, has allowed the B.Tech program in 11 regional languages – Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Bengali, Assam, Punjabi and Odia, Deputy President of the Secretariat said in a tweet.

“The vice president wants more college engineering and other technical education institutions to offer courses in regional languages,” he said.
