Nala safety audit for people, said Kt Rama Rao

Hyderabad: Minister of Administration KT Rama Rama Rao said the government had taken the Safety Audit of Nalas in all major city companies, including GHMC, and the municipality to maintain the lives of people living near Nalas.
He instructed officials to ensure safety steps and preparations to avoid unwanted incidents in the rainy season.
He asked officials to complete work related to strengthening and repairing the retaining walls near Nalas on the war footing.
The Minister for reviewing works related to the Nala Strategic Development Program (SNDP) on Tuesday.
He said officials must identify places in Nalas that need to be strengthened and developed.
Jobs related to strengthening, repairs, and safety such as building a retaining wall will be taken in Nalas.
KTOR said that some unfortunate incidents occurred near Nalas despite taking precautions and warned officials that the incident could not occur in the future.
“Senior officials will be responsible if there are unwanted incidents in the future due to lack of safety steps near Nalas,” Ktr said.
The Minister asked the GHMC DS Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar to review safety and SNDP steps to work every week.
He also asked Mayor G Vijyalakshmi to oversee works throughout the city.
Head of Special Secretary Arvind Kumar, Lokesh Kumar, Mayor and senior official from the MA & UD Department attended the meeting.
