Patna: The State Union Minister for external affairs and education Rajkumar Ranjan Singh inaugurated the Nalanda University teaching block on Friday.
“Nalanda has become an enlightenment land whose predecessors have been fighting for attention and the middle road,” he said while expressing the pleasure of seeing the university’s big infrastructure coming.
The architectural design reflects ancient Nalanda University.
The minister said Nalanda could play an important role in promoting understanding and attention.
“Nalanda University stands as a symbol of inclusion, harmony, peace, knowledge, inspiration, creativity, and innovation,” he said.
Singh stated that students’ participation from various countries enriched Nalanda’s experience, which could be used to create knowledge ecosystems to contribute to humanitarian improvement.

Sunain Singh gave a direction to the minister about academic activities and the ongoing university development work.
The Minister praised VC for his extraordinary enthusiasm and energy and said he had exemplified “Bharatiya Nari-Shakti”.
A cultural program was also organized by students, featuring dynamic multicultural diversity on campus.
The university has students from more than 30 countries.
“For centuries, Nalanda attracted scholars from all over Asia and became a symbol of wisdom and intra-asia interactions.
Today, Nalanda appears as a flare expectation, knowledge, wisdom and security for the global world,” VC said.
