Nalsar Law University offers teacher courses in animal law

Chennai: Cases of cruelty of animals are reported every day from all over the country.
And knowledge of animal law will help animal lovers and activists ensure that the perpetrators do not escape without injury.
That is why the Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Center for Animal Law and Humane Society International (HSI) / India has announced India’s first teacher courses in animal law.

Both the master’s program and an advanced one-year annual course are now open for applications.
This program will help students get an understanding of the basic laws and constitutions of India and include animal welfare status in India.
This will help individuals working in this space, both legal or non-legal, by providing a deep legal understanding of important areas related to animal welfare in India and appear globally.
This program will also include laws relating to the prevention of cruelty of animals, criminal procedures, wildlife laws and other policies that directly affect animal welfare, and how to report crimes against animals.
