Mumbai: The day after the Head of Congress Maharashtra Nana Patole claimed that his movement was under the supervision of the Allies of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) Shiv Sena and NCP, the leader said that his statement was distorted.
He also said that BJP opposition in the country targets Congress and they will soon face the consequences.
“Congress is targeted in the state by BJP.
Our statement is being distorted.
Congress will become the number one party in the state.
Many people are annoyed with our progress in the state.
BJP will face the consequences of the increase in fuel prices and inflation,” he said.
Patole previously said that Sena and NCP felt “the land slipped from under their feet” due to the increasing influence of Congress.
The opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis demanded that patole claims be examined and the head of the Minister of UDDHAV Thackeray and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar must overcome the statement.
However, cleaning the air around the cold war among the Allies of MVA, Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat told reporters on Tuesday that there was no crack on the parties and that the alliance was stronger than before.
“The alliance will continue to do good work in the state,” he said.
Sena leader Eknath Shinde also echoed the same statement, adding that if there was a dispute, he wanted to finish it through a discussion.
