Nandi Hills to stay closed on weekends to avoid rushing

With a large crowd flock to Nandi Hills on Sunday, the administrative district of Chikkaballapur decided to ban visitors to Hill Station on weekends.
At least 8,000 people flocked to the hill on the first weekend after limiting the locking was truly lifted.
The authorities have difficulty upholding Covid-19 norms; There are many violations and some fined people.
When police found it difficult to control the crowds and traffic, Chikkaballapur supervisor from the police said it would be right to impose restrictions on weekend visitors to Nandi Hills.
After holding a discussion with the Minister of Climbing of the District and Minister of Health K Sudhakar and also considered the Covid situation that applies, the authorities decided to ban the entry of visitors to the hill over the weekend until the order further.
Deputy Deputy Commissioner Amaresh H issued an order for this effect on Monday night.
