Kolkata: The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday booked an order on the application submitted by the Head of Minister of Mamata Banerjee, and the Minister of Law Moloy Ghatak seek receipt for Narada fraud cases.
Five judges from the Calcutta High Court heard Narada’s case.
Banerjee on Monday has submitted a new written statement at the Calcutta High Court in Narada’s case as directed by the APEX court.
Previously, the Top Court had asked Banerjee, Ghatak and the state government to approach the Calcutta High Court with their application to record a written statement on their allegations about their role on the day of the arrest of the Trinamool Congress leader by the CBI in Narada, a scam case.
The Calcutta High Court on June 9 has refused to receive a significant statement of Banerjee.
On June 9, the court, hearing the CBI request to transfer the Narada Tape Sting case from the CBI court specifically to the High Court, said that he would decide later to consider written information by Banerjee, their respective roles on the arrest of four leaders in connection with this case.
The CBI has made the minister’s chief and the Minister of Law in his transfer applicant there.
The CBI has claimed that while the minister’s chairman has been sitting in Dharna at the CBI office in Kolkata as soon as the arrest of four was accused, Ghatak was present at the Banshall court where the Virtual Hearing case before the Special CBI court.

Subrata Minister Mukherjee and Firhad Hakim, Trinamool MLA Congress Madan Mitra and former Mayor of Kolkata Sovan Chatterjee was arrested by the CBI who was investigating the case of Tape Sting Narada in the order of High Court 2017.
On May 17 itself, the Special CBI court has given them guarantees, however, Highcourt has still ordered, which sent it to juice custody.
They were placed under house arrest on May 21 by the High Court, modifying the order of inp previously in the guarantee.
Mathew Samuel News Narada, a web portal, has conducted Sting Narada operations in 2014 where some people resembled TMC ministers, MPs and MLA were seen receiving money from representatives from fictitious companies.
The four politicians arrested were ministers in the government of Mamata Banerjee at that time.
Towards the election of the 2016 assembly in West Bengal, the sting operation was published.
