Ratnagiri: Union Minister Narayan Rane questioned what the Maharashtra government had achieved by arresting him as if he was a gangster.
“This is not legal.
I don’t commit a crime.
It’s just a power show.
In the future we will also be in power,” he said.
Rane discussed a series of press conferences at Ratnagiri where he continued ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ on Friday that had been disturbed by his arrest and the next release earlier this week.
Rane was arrested after the complaint submitted by Sena workers on the comments of “CM slap”.
Continuing his scolding against Thackernays and Shiv Sena, Rane warned that Varun Sardesai (Thackeray’s nephew) who led the “attack” at his home would not return if he tried the same again.
