Mumbai: Narayan Rane visited a private hospital in Mumbai on Thursday for medical examinations, said Sumber Bharatiya Janata (BJP).
Rane, who was diabetes, went to Lilavati Hospital, two days after he was arrested for his controversial comment on the head of Maharashtra Minister Uddhav Thackeray and then given a guarantee.
“He was in the hospital for routine examinations and did not confess,” said Legislator BJP Prasad Lad.
Earlier this week, Rane triggered a row of statements about slapping the Thackeray for what he claimed as the last ignorance of Indian independence year.
His statement has caused protests at Maharashtra.
