Mumbai: After spending most of his political career in Shiv Sena, Narayan Rane had come a long way, leaving two parties and forming his own clothes for a while, before joining BJP and becoming a minister.
Rane (69) began his political career as ‘Shakha Pramukh’ (Head of Local Environment) in Sena and rises the ranks to become Minister of Chief at the end of the Sena-BJP government office in 1999.

However, Thackeray, Rane was released from Sena in July 2005 for “Anti-party activity” after he accused that the ticket and post were sold in Shiv Sena.
Rane joined the congress in August 2005 and stopped September 2017.

Rane then said he had joined the Congress because he was convinced that he would be a minister of chairman in six months.
After a stop from Congress, Rane launched Maharashtra Swabhiman Papha in October 2017.
In 2018, he expressed support for BJP and was elected to Rajya Sabha on the nomination of the party.
In October 2019, he combined his party with BJP.
Over the years, Rane’s political rival has linked it to several violent incidents, claiming his involvement in the murder of Shiv Sena Shridhar workers rose and several other crimes in the Sindhudurg area in Konkan.
