Narcotics addiction launches 2 into the phone’s udder

Patna: Police arrested two young men from two different locations under the Patrakar Police Station in Patna on Monday night and Tuesday morning with a cellphone that was allegedly started to grab cellphones from commuters to meet their addiction.
The young men who were arrested were identified as Rahul Kumar (20) from Colony Idh Nmch and Vishal Kumar (20) who lived near the Shalinga Mata Temple, both under the Alamgaj police station in Patna City.
Police said both undergraduate students.
Patrakar Nagar Police Station Sho Manohoranjan Bharti said that Rahul was arrested from nearby Maurya Hospital around 8pm, Monday while his colleague was arrested after being captured to the same location on Monday morning with his bicycle used in all events.
Bharti said that the police recovered four cellphones looted from the ownership of Rahul who were looted from near the Clinic Dr.
Sarika Rai, Terminal Rajendra Nagar, Maurya Hospital and Patliputra Sports Complex in the last few days.
“Police took the help of Rahul to arrest Vishal.
Rahul who claimed that Vishal was his colleague at the incident to grab cellphones,” he said.
Sho said both of them came from the middle class family with father in personal work.
“Both admitted that they were addicted to consuming brown sugar at least six months back because they had a relationship with poor elements.
Their addiction increased to such a point that they began to grab cellphones with money so they could buy brown sugar for personal consumption,” he said.
Bharti said the duo was told the police that they used to sell cellphones that were looted at around Rs 40,000-50,000 each with only RS 4000-5000 with different gangs for their needs.
“They spend all the money in one or two days in the purchase of drugs and consumption of fast food,” Sho said.
Sho Bharti said that the police are now working to capture the supply of drug supplies and gangs used to buy cellphones looted from the duo.
He said Rahul was forwarded to detention after production in front of the court on Tuesday while Vishal would be produced on Wednesday.
