Tel Aviv: The Chief of Staff of the Indian Army MM Naravane, who was on a five-day visit to Israel, visited the country’s northern border, where he was briefed by Israeli forces in Medan and border management.
“General MM Naravane #Coas visited the Northern Border #israel and was briefed on the fields of Medan & Border Management by Israel forces #idf Forces,” informed additional public directorate General, Indian army in tweets.
CoAS on Sunday continued his first visit to Israel where he was scheduled to fulfill the country’s senior military and civilian leadership to discuss the road to improve the next Indo-Israel defense relationship.
Indian Army Chief of Staff, on the first day of his first visit to Israel on Monday, accepted the country’s honorary guard.
He also made a visit to the Special Operations Unit of the Israeli defense forces later, where he gave a briefing about the aspects of the implementation of counter-terrorism operations.
The Ministry of Defense, in a statement, said that the army’s head would bear excellent bilateral defense cooperation between Israel and India through several meetings with senior officials of security establishment and exchanging views on various defense related problems.
