Jodhpur: In another heist money, some people fled with Rs 26 Lakh from the ATM in Beru Village near Jodhpur on Friday night.
The incident came to the notification on Saturday morning only after the villagers saw a broken ATM cover.
According to the police, the information was received on Saturday that the shutter of the Bank of India ATM was damaged.
Looters use heavy iron stems to lift the ATM shutter and enter it.
“When we got there and entered the ATM after lifting the shutter, it was found badly damaged,” police said.
According to bank officials, Rs 25.75 Lakh stacked at the ATM before the booty and the looters confused with the entire amount.
Although the police have begun investigated this problem, the initial investigation has revealed that there were four people involved in theft, which was held several late Friday night.
According to this information, the efforts that failed to loot the same ATM were reported about six months ago.
But regardless of it, bank officials have not included adequate security measures to keep the ATM.
However, as a security measure, they close the ATM at night, it is possible to prevent repetition of each incident but even this cannot save ATMs from this big booty.
The incident occurred three days after two unknown robbers plundered Rs 12 lakh from the SBI branch in Gangsahi Village near Jodhpur.
