Naseruddin on pro-government films

Naseeruddin Shah was recently opened about filmmakers who were encouraged to make pro-government films.
In a recent interview with the news portal, Naseeruddin Shah stated that even though he had not observed the success of the film industry, he was advised to change his name when he began.
The actor also added that he had no way to find out whether his decision worked in supporting it or not.
Furthermore, Veteran actor added that many filmmakers were encouraged to make pro-government films.
According to him, they are also financed and also promised clean chat if they make a propaganda film.
Naseruddin Shah also continued by saying that the type of large budget films that are being made today cannot disguise the jingoistic agenda.

Recently, the actor was on the news after he made a statement about those who celebrated the return of Taliban to Afghanistan.
Talking about the same thing, he added that using the word ‘celebrating’ might be inappropriate.
In the video message recently, Naseeruddin was heard said, ‘It was frightening when the Indian Muslim part was seen celebrating the return of the Taliban to rule in Afghanistan.
Indian Muslims must decide whether they want reform and modernity or they want to follow the system and medieval trust values.

Naseeruddin Shah has been part of the Indian film industry for almost five decades.
He has a film like ‘Nishant’, ‘Aakrosh’, ‘Mirch Masala’, ‘Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyon Ata Hai’, ‘Junon’, ‘Wednesday’, ‘Bathing’, ‘Jae Bhi’, ‘Yaaro and many others for credit.
