‘Nashe Ki Rajdhani’: Protests outside the Delhi liquor store

New Delhi: Delhi Congress workers on Wednesday protested outside the hall Liqour here, claiming the new excise policy will transform the capital into a “Nashe Ki Rajdhani”.

New excise policy, which hit the market town on Wednesday, marking the end of nearly 600 stores state-run liquor operates throughout the national capital.
The liquor business will now be handled entirely by private players.
“They closed the store milk and open vends liquor.

“We, the Congress, will not let this happen and do not allow new liquor vends to be opened here,” he said.
He also criticized the decision of lowering the drinking age of 21 with the new policy, said that instead of providing employment opportunities to the unemployed youth, AAP government asks them to consume liquor.
In accordance new excise policy, which was put into the public domain in July of this year, oral liquor will be arranged in 32 zones throughout the city.
One licensee will have 27 retail liquor store per zone.
Appropriate policies are changed, the city will have a magnificent 850 liquor store where customers will be allowed to choose their brand because they are in the shopping center.
Delhi BJP, under the leadership of its president adesh Gupta, also a demonstration of the new liquor policy at Jantar Mantar on Wednesday.
