Nashik: Nashik City has reported a 39% decline in Covid patients under house isolation for the past two weeks.
The number of covid patients under house isolation was reduced from 464 on June 20, 283 on July 7.
The number of active cases also fell below 800 for the first time in three and a half months.
The city has 799 patients active until Wednesday, including 516 patients undergoing treatment at civil and private hospitals and 283 in house isolation.
On May 31, the city has 4,315 active patients.
From them, 1,934 patients were in house isolation.
According to Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) officials, there has been a continuous decline in the number of new cases because Covid infectivity decreases.
In addition, the level of participants also decreases dramatically in the city.
Overall government restrictions help solve the coronavirus chain in the city, officials said.
The second wave starts from the second week of February when the city only has 500 active cases.
The number of active cases increased to 28,000 cases on April 23, but the opposite trend began afterwards.
Now, there has been a big decline in active cases in the city for the past two months.
