Nashik: Abu Lata Mangeshkar sets in Rankund

Nashik: The Legendary Singer Abu Lata Mangeshkar was set at Rankund on the edge of Godavari in the city on Thursday.
The last ritual of the late singer was carried out by his nephew, Adinath Mangeshkar, and Sister, Usha Mangeshkar, in the presence of other family members.
Usha Mangeshkar said, “He is not just my sister, but also my mother.
All rituals are carried out on a profitable muhatat.” Flight brought Mangeshkar landed at Nashik airport around 10am, from where they reached Rankund by road.
Strict police bandobast and traffic settings are made to ensure that the ritual remains bother.
Although general residents are prohibited from Rankund, there are no obstacles to people who want to do the ritual of their dead family members.
Lata Mangeshkar (92) died at Mumbai Hospital on Sunday morning after multi-organ failure.
He was cremated in Shivaji Park in Mumbai the same night as the full state award.
