Nashik: Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has issued public notifications that ask all housing and commercial buildings, along with private hospitals to complete fire audits from government-recognized agents and submit audit reports to the Civic Agency on February 10.
Cases of housing buildings, fire audits will apply to structures that have a height of more than 15 meters.
The Civic’s body has also warned to trap water and building power supply which failed to submit a fire audit report in the given deadline.
PraveNy Ashhtikar, Supplementary NMC Commissioner and Sanjay Bairagi, Head of the NMC API Brigade, has issued public notice after the direction of the Kailas Jadhav city commissioner.
The Civic Agency has identified 11 categories to conduct fire audits, which include government and semi-government offices, hospitals, hotels and gas stations, commercial buildings such as shopping complexes, malls and offices, public buildings such as wedding space, space and auditorium.

Public notifications issued by civil bodies state that this residential and commercial building is needed to make the provisions of the fire system and conduct fire audits by related institutions and submit audits.
