Nashik: City police organize various activities to make people aware of different security measures to stop anti-social elements to indulge violations of the body and property in run-up and during Diwali.
The aim is to spread the message that the police are ready to take strict action on criminals.
The police on Thursday held a demonstration in the riot control scheme in the Phule Nagar area.
The senior police inspector was in a senior Kolhe and senior officers, together with their colleagues from the police striking and the Mobile Nirbhaya police and the Beat Marshal Phule Nagar, Katya Maruti and Malegaon were present during the demonstration.
Kolhe said such exercises were being carried out to measure the readiness of the police in handling the situation and to show the presence of police on the streets to instill confidence in citizens.
The police have met with jewelry and told them to take precautions.
