Nashik: The city identified 1,075 fresh covid cases in August this year – at least since June 2020.
The lowest monthly covid numbers in the city of Nashik before this was last year, in May (1,948).
Daily recovery for August 2021 exceeds Daily Positive Cases and Covid Death is also the lowest month.
NMC officials said the trend of decreasing Covid cases continued in the city.
NGARGARGOJE NMC Medical Supervisors Nagargoje said the Koronavirus infectivity had diminished and became lighter.
This is the reason for the decline in the number of new cases.
However, there has been a third covid wave projection in the coming months.
People must continue to observe the appropriate behavior of Covid considering that the celebration season is almost here.
The first wave of pandemics began in April 2020, was infected around 80,000 people until February 202.
The city reported 26,443 cases in September 2020 – the highest monthly covid case during the first wave.
In addition, the number of active Covid cases in the city has increased to 6,200 cases during the first phase of Pandemi.
But the second wave was bigger, and it was infected around 1.48 lakh people in the city.
The city reported 71,680 cases in April 2021, which was the highest monthly covid tally during the second wave.
In April this year, the city reported 2,615 new cases per day on average, but cases began to fall significantly afterwards.
In June and July, the city reported an average of 109 and 55 cases per day.
The average daily number fell further to 37 in August 2021.
