NASHIK: The positivity rate of Nashik district has decreased from 4.39% to 2.39percent in the last few days.
In Nashik town, meanwhile, the positivity rate has declined from 2 percent to 1 percent.
As stated by the healthcare officials, approximately 9,500 evaluations have been conducted at the district daily, such as 5,800 Covid evaluations in Nashik town alone.
On Sunday, of those 9,551 tests conducted at the district, 229 analyzed positive.
District civil surgeon Ashok Thorat reported the amount of daily cases has decreased drastically during the past couple of days.
The limitations imposed by the authorities — such as the weekend lockdown — have yielded great results.
“Awareness One of the individuals has also improved and they’re seen after each of the Covid security protocols.
This, general, has caused a fall from the positivity rate of this district,” he explained.
Like Nashik town, fresh Covid instances in Nashik rural has additionally decreased to double digits from the last week.

In Nashik town, the amount of energetic Covid patients has decreased from 4,315 on May 31 into 1,205 now.
When contacted, Bapusaheb Nagargoje, the medical superintendent of the Nashik Municipal Corporation, stated there’s been a fall in the amount of daily cases though the amount of evaluations remains high from the private and civil hospitals in town.
“The infectivity of this Covid has decreased, which has also helped to decrease the amount of Covid instances,” he explained.
