Nashik: Durga Puja becomes a low key business

Nashik: The Nashik-based Bengali community has decided to celebrate Durga Puja in a limited way by respecting Covid-related safety norms announced by the state government.
Organizers of events throughout the city of Nashik have decided to keep the exactly low events even though they will ensure the Puja tradition is done without rest.
Gandhinagar Sarbojanin expected Puja Trust, celebrating the event for the 68th year this time, has asked all its members to offer restraints and celebrate a simple festival.
“Because covid restrictions on, we have reduced the size of Goddess Durga Idol from 20 feet to four feet according to government orders.
