Nashik: With most elementary schools reopen all districts from Monday, the regional transportation office Nashik (RTO) has instructed his inspector to ensure the appropriate behavior of Covid (taxi) followed on the school bus.
Among other SOP issued by the state government in connection with the reopening of the school, the driver and school bus servants must be fully vaccinated.
The flying team from Nashik RTO routinely checks the vehicle to ensure there is no norm violation.
Pradeep Shinde, regional transportation officer, Nashik said RTO officials had been ordered to ensure all guidelines issued by the state government in connection with the transportation of school students on the school bus were obeyed.
Shinde said the action would be taken according to the notification issued by the government.
“The RTO inspector has been ordered to check that the driver and servant are fully vaccinated.
If the action does not need to be done on the driver,” Shinde said.
Drivers, conductors or maids on such buses will be slapped with a fine of RS 500 for violating the norms on the bus, RTO official said.
