Nashik: Only Submission of Online Building Plans from January 1

Nashik: Following the direction of the state government, Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has decided to stop the offline submission and approval of the development plan.
Builders must send an online building plan from January 1.
Offline submission and building plan approval have begun about three to four months following several problems with online software.
NMC officials said the state government had been directed at starting online submission and approval of the development plan since the beginning of 2022.
On December 2 last year, the state government introduced the UNIFIED (UDCPR) control & development regulations for all countries.
All city companies, councils and Nagar Panchayats (not including Mumbai) have been brought under the ambit new rules.
The state government introduces integrated DCPR to bring uniformity in the width of the road, the size of the room, etc.
The state government also develops software for online submission and approval of the building plan.
Online Submission and Approval of this building plan will come into force from April 1, this year.
But the builder must face several technical problems while sending a building plan online.
It also slows the process of submitting and approval of the building plan.
Therefore, the Confederation of the Indian Real Estate Developer Association (Credii), Nashik and Maharashtra, has urged the state government to attract online systems to technical problems in sorted software.
Conversely, the association has demanded the state to start submission of offline plans and approval.
Thus, the Urban Development Department of the State Government has provided a nod to start an offline system for the submission and approval of the building plan from October 1.
Now the state government has been directed at starting an online system.
