Nashik: RS 1,000 fine to skip the mask in public

Nashik: Every resident of the Nashik district found without a mask in a public place will soon have to pay a fine of RS 1,000 – Duplicate the subtle amount that is enacted until now for the violation of the Covid-19 protocol.
In addition, the company will also be responsible and slapped with a fine of RS 5,000 if people are found there without a mask.
Nashik District Collector Suraj Mandhare has issued a notification in this relationship after the state government guidelines.
Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) officials said they would begin to collect an increase in fines with direct effects.
“We will issue orders in this connection in one or two days and will immediately start applying,” NMC official said.
NMC began slapping fines on the city’s residents who were wrong during the first wave of last year.
Since the Covid-19 outbreak, the NMC regu has demonstrated more than 14,000 mistaken citizens, collecting a fine of Rs 50 Lakh.
From them, 9,457 citizens of the mistakenly fined because they did not wear masks in public places and markets in the city during the last financial year 2020-21, paid a total fine of Rs 27.12 lakh.
During the current financial year, between April 1 and November 18, NMC has fined 4,578 incident city residents, collecting a total fine of Rs 22.9 lakh.
The smooth number has increased from Rs 200 years ago to Rs 500 before Diwali this year.
