Nashik: Nashik Administration can require more than 800 medical staff, including doctors, nurses, and health assistants after a fresh surge in the Covid case in the Nashik countryside.
Go with the norm of two doctors per ten beds, one nurse staff per two beds and one health assistant per 10 beds in the ICU case and one doctor per 15 beds, 1 nurse staff for every four beds and one health assistant per 15 Beds, District Health Authorities underlined the need for around 800 staff who will be sourced from the National Health Mission (NMH).
“The state government has allowed a source of 1,052 people during the peak of the second wave.
Even though the wave is expected to be greater, especially we will need 800 personnel in various categories and administrations relating to most of them,” said Dr.
Rahul Hadpe, district health mission officials.
It is hoped that the administration can require 170 doctors, 360 staff nurses, and 350 health assistants, among others to reduce the crisis when exploding.
During the second wave peak, administration has received 53 doctors, 343 staff nurses and 300 health assistants, which are still lower than what administration is needed.
According to senior health officials, the government will follow the guidelines of the state government over the appointment of the people.
Personnel leased directly involved in treating and caring for Covid patients after being rented on contracts during the second wave and so the pandemic recedes in the district rural part, their services were stopped.
Therefore, they will be given a priority.
“They are trained to handle Covid and they have a good experience too.
Given the situation, they will be in the administrative priority list.
We relate to administration,” added officers.
